“Alaska Airlines Launches Direct Flights from Tucson to Sacramento”

Alaska Airlines has started a new nonstop service from Tucson International Airport (TUS) to Sacramento, California (SMF). The new route, which commenced operations on August 26, is expected to significantly improve connectivity between the two cities.

The new service will operate four times a week, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The flights will depart from Tucson at 12:10 p.m. and arrive in Sacramento at 1:45 p.m. The return flights from Sacramento will leave at 2:25 p.m. and land in Tucson at 5:55 p.m. The timings are designed to provide convenient connections for both business and leisure travelers.

Alaska Airlines’ new route is a welcome addition to Tucson International Airport’s expanding network. The airport has been working to increase its nonstop flight options, and the new service to Sacramento is a significant step in that direction. The route is expected to be popular, as it provides a direct link between Arizona’s second-largest city and California’s capital.
