The airport has attributed this growth to a number of factors, including the addition of new routes and airlines, and improved services. In 2019, the airport added several new non-stop flights to its schedule, including to destinations such as Minneapolis-St. Paul, San Antonio, and Seattle. The airport also introduced new airlines, including Frontier Airlines, which began offering flights to Las Vegas and Phoenix.

The Colorado Springs Airport has also made significant investments in improving its facilities and services. This includes a $5 million renovation project to upgrade the airport’s terminal and concourse, as well as the addition of new restaurants and retail outlets. The airport has also invested in new technology to improve the passenger experience, including a new baggage handling system and improved security screening processes. The airport’s growth and success are seen as a positive sign for the local economy, with the airport contributing over $3 billion annually to the local economy.
