The mission of the BLM is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of America’s public lands for the use and enjoyment of both present and future generations. This includes managing resources such as minerals, timber, and energy sources, while also preserving natural, historical, and cultural resources.

The Lazy 5 Transmission Line Project is one such initiative that the BLM is overseeing. However, before proceeding, the bureau is seeking initial public input. This is part of the BLM’s commitment to involving the public in its land and resource management decisions. More information about the project and how to provide input can be found on the BLM’s website.
