The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Little Snake Field Office has announced Stage 1 fire restrictions, according to a recent press release. The BLM’s Little Snake Field Office is implementing these restrictions due to the increased risk of wildfires. Stage 1 restrictions are typically enforced when conditions are dry and hot, and there is a high risk of fire spreading rapidly. The restrictions include prohibitions on certain activities that could potentially ignite a wildfire.

In addition to managing public lands, the BLM also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the nation. The announcement of the fire restrictions is part of the BLM’s ongoing efforts to protect these lands, ensuring they remain safe and productive for future generations. More information about the restrictions can be found on the BLM’s website.
