“BLM Colorado Set to Host Mustang Adoption Auction in Meeker Makeover Event”

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Colorado is set to hold an adoption auction for the Meeker Mustang Makeover. The BLM is responsible for managing around 245 million acres of public land, primarily located across 12 western states, including Alaska. This is undertaken on behalf of the American people.

In addition to managing public land, the BLM also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the country. The agency’s mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of America’s public lands. This is to ensure their use and enjoyment for both present and future generations.

The upcoming adoption auction forms part of this mission, contributing to the management and preservation of the nation’s wild horse population. Further details about the event can be found on the BLM’s official website.
