“Burque Brews: A Toast to Albuquerque’s Spirit with Craft Beers and Elevated Cuisine at Sunport”

Travelers at Albuquerque International Sunport can now enjoy the local flavor at Burque Brews, a new pub celebrating the city’s beer culture and cuisine. The establishment is operated by Fresquez Concessions, a local company, and is located where concourses A and B meet. The pub offers a relaxed atmosphere, with a design inspired by the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, and a menu featuring New Mexico’s craft beers and signature dishes.

Mayor Tim Keller expressed his enthusiasm for the new spot, stating that Burque Brews is a testament to Albuquerque’s creative spirit and local flavor. The pub’s menu features elevated bar food, with Southwest-inspired flavors perfectly paired with a rotating selection of local brews. Aviation Acting Director Manny Manriquez echoed these sentiments, highlighting the goal to make the travel experience uniquely Albuquerque.

Burque Brews is part of the Sunport’s “Dream of Flight” terminal renovation, a project aimed at enhancing the traveler experience while showcasing the best of Albuquerque’s culture, cuisine, and creativity. It is the second of several new dining options to open in the concourse area, reflecting the airport’s commitment to local partnerships and authenticity. LeeAnna Fresquez, president of Fresquez Concessions, expressed her excitement to share the city’s great food, beer, and people with travelers from around the globe. The pub aims to capture the essence of Albuquerque, reimagining the airport as a gateway to the city’s heart.
